Corona help for LEAP Science & Maths Schools, South Africa

Hanspeter Pfister, DG

Who might remember Lunghi from South Africa? She was our heroine in the award-winning film that was produced on the occasion of the 2017 inter-district conference in Zurich. Lunghi - a Rotarian since 2018 - has been working for her LEAP Science and Maths School for years and now comes to us with a call for help. They need 1,500 toiletries for female students, 1,500 food packages - because students study at home and don't get lunch - and 250 mobile phones so students can send their completed homework online. This is where we can achieve financial leverage with a global grant application.

Donations for this latest project of RFPD can be made to Rotary Foundation Switzerland with the notation "Lunghi". The account details can be found online and in the Rotary Yearbook on page 11. Thank you very much for your help!
